While the Diary of a Mad Hedge Fund Trader focuses on investment over a one week to six-month time frame, Mad Day Trader, provided by Jim Parker, will exploit money-making opportunities over a brief ten minute to three day window. It is ideally suited for day traders, but can also be used by long-term investors to improve market timing for entry and exit points.

IBM...put in an ORH month with a close over 186.25. Between 180-182 we'll take a look at buying this.

Bonds...
30 Yr. Futures...sell rallies not breaks.
Bund...139.65-75 is resistance. A close over 140.10 is needed to confirm upside.

FX...
The world is buying dollars. We tried selling the Swiss and got stopped out. We had the right idea however the timing was a week off.
I'm not going to chase this dollar buying spree today but it's something that needs to be monitored for an entry.
Commodities...
Oil..98.25 should act as initial support. 99.10 is resistance and the upside pivot.
General Comments or Valuable Insight
Keep it simple. Use Tuesday's closes in everything for your macro pivot.
If an instrument is holding higher on the year ...Buy before you Sell.
If an instrument is lower the reverse holds true.
Trading against the yearly closes gives you defined risk.
Markets will remain extremely thin!
Short Term View...
Keep trading to make money. The opportunity will be in individual names.
Individual stocks look to be an easier read based off their own technicals.
