While the Diary of a Mad Hedge Fund Trader focuses on investment over a one week to six-month time frame, Mad Day Trader, provided by Jim Parker, will exploit money-making opportunities over a brief ten minute to three day window. It is ideally suited for day traders, but can also be used by long-term investors to improve market timing for entry and exit points.

Stocks...
XLU...put in an ORH day yesterday. Investors are seeking refuge again after the big run up in Nasdaq by rotating money back into Utilities.
VIX...12.24.46 is no man's land the first time up. This is the first area that short term traders will be looking to pick a low in the Equity Indices today. That will be a very hard game to play.
12.83 is possible
AMZN...weekly sell stops are @ 321.40. I wouldn't look for much downside below here.
?
Bonds...
30 yr. Bonds...while Bonds put in an imperfect double top on the bar charts (just missing the previous high by a few ticks) the point & figure shows one.
Price action and a close under 137.22 is needed for confirmation of a high.
TLT...114 seems to be the matching level with the 30 yr. Futures
FX...
AUD/NZD...broke out last night over it's 200 DMA @ 108.80. 110.37 needs to be monitored for a trend change (the monthly ORH #)
Commodities...
Gold...strengthens over 1319. 1288 is 200 DMA support.
Live Cattle..(V) has been seeing bouts of profit taking, however it has been just that. No confirmed market top. The Bulls are still in control.
Sustained price action today under 1.5595 could lead to a small sell off down to 1.53
