While the Diary of a Mad Hedge Fund Trader focuses on investment over a one week to six-month time frame, Mad Day Trader, provided by Bill Davis, will exploit money-making opportunities over a brief ten minute to three day window. It is ideally suited for day traders, but can also be used by long-term investors to improve market timing for entry and exit points.
I would like to make an adjustment on the NCR position again.
If you followed the alert from September 23rd, you would have sold the January $29 for $1.00.
I suggest you Buy to Close that position.
You should be able to close them for $.75, giving you a 25 cent profit per share.
Then Sell to Open the January $32 call.? I am showing a spread of $.85 to $1.35 on them.
Try and sell them for $.85.
If you can get the execution as outlined above, it will mean that the debit is down to $.60 with a maximum profit of $5.
